With all the back and forth going on about President Obama making his political appointments without Senate confirmation and while the Senate was still in session (since it technically was still in session according to Senator Harry Reid's definition), I thought it only fair to bring to everybodys attention how some of our political representatives feel about making this type of appointment, in session or not.
This article uses quotes on recess appointments from Senator Harry Reid, Senator Dick Durbin, Senator John Kerry, Senator Frank Lautenberg and Senator Max Baucus, and most especially, then Senator Barack Obama.
It's only fair, you know, to see how some of our representatives actually feel about this type of appointment.
Oh well, a new precedent has been set. One, that if this executive farce is not quashed in the courts, will be employed by the GOP the next time they occupy the White House (in about a year).
It should be interesting to see how these yahoos respond then.
